He was heavily involved in Delaware Honors Concert Bands, Jazz Bands, and Choirs, and was awarded the Delaware Honors In Music Award for his contributions to the Delaware Music Educators Association.

Mr. Walls continued his education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. Prior to his appointment at Spring-Ford, Mr. Walls worked as the Director of Bands at Polytech High School in Woodside DE and as the 4-8 Grade Band Director in the Wilson School District in West Lawn PA. He is extremely excited to continue the legacy of the Spring-Ford Band Program!

In his free time, Mr. Walls enjoys listening to podcasts, and playing trumpet, corn hole, and Ping-Pong. He is especially fond of walking, cooking, and traveling with his wife and best friend Reily, and their black lab, Bailey.
